"You´re in a basement that belongs to a hotel. The hotel is closed. From down here it is difficult to hear the birds up in the attic. But they are there.”

"The resonance of many" is a video installation with a 9 min long, site-specific sound work that was shown in the basement at Hotell Norrvalla. The hotel was built in the 1930s and over the last 30 years it has been a shelter for the homeless, but was recently closed because of poor conditions. The building is now to be completely renovated.

The work is part of an ongoing project that explores the phenomenon of swarm behavior, seen from a contemporary metaphorical point of view.
